Gijon has received the award for best promotional tourist destination dining in the First Edition of the “CON” award by the editorial board of the digital gastronomic magazine “Very gluttony.”
The town tries under the slogan “Gijon, Asturias with salt”, to become known as a city open to the sea, with a wide range of recreational opportunities, culture, nature and gastronomy, and has, moreover, with its beaches and wide range of proposals for the whole family.

for the director of the Office of the Joint Tourist of the town, Joaquin Miranda, receiving this award is an “honor” for the city that has chosen “very strong” for the gastronomic, and has in its streets with restaurants equipped with the Michelin star.
Other winners were Abraham Garcia, recognized as the most personality Chef, “I can not lose weight” by Dr. Pierre Duran and the book is more widely accepted, Palomar Garcia del Hotel Palace in Madrid, as the public relations most original, RV Depress as culinary communications agency with better design and business development and Rioja Wine Route Laves, like most involved gastronomic route in the field.
These awards are born with the vocation of honors individuals and organizations in the world of gastronomy in different areas: food, wines, beer, gastronomic tours, books, media, Internet and advertising.
