Located in the Netherlands Antilles, southwest of Puerto Rico, lies the small island of Saba. It is considered one of the strangest and most unique islands in the region, and along with his sister St. Eustatius and St. Maarten her older sister, is part of the Windward Netherlands Antilles.
Most of the area of Saba is the dormant volcano Mount Scenery of 888 meters, which in turn is the highest point of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Saba also offers the possibility of hiking. There are several trails, including the Stairwell, a journey of 1,064 steps from Windward side, through dense tropical vegetation to the summit of Mount Scenery. Here grow vines and giant ferns, Mange and plane trees, wild orchids and helicon.
